On September 22, 1969, Omar Abdel Qader Ghandour, then President of the Nejmeh Sports Club, signed the rental contract of the apartment located in the fifth section of property No. 4225 of the Mazraa district in Beirut, which consisted of an entrance, three bedrooms, two sitting rooms, a kitchen, a food storage, a bathroom, two corridors, three balconies and a terrace, owned by Nusrat Faraon of Syrian nationality. The lease was for the duration of one year, renewable, and valued at 4700 LL.
Twenty-five years later, on 10/1/1995, a property sale agreement was concluded between the heirs of Nusrat Faraon and Nejmeh Sports Club President, Hajj Omar Abdel Qader Ghandour, amounting to $65,000.
On April 10, 1996, the apartment was officially transferred to Nejme Sports Club, represented by its President, Hajj Omar Ghandour, who was delegated by the Club’s administrative body to sign all the documents necessary for the completion of the purchase transaction and the transfer of the property ownership.
